Studio Siudio
is an interdisciplinary design space set up by Yip Siu to speculate, catalogue and publish work that he has been involved in. Moving between the fields of architecture, photography and music through media(s) of drawing, writing, engagement and mixing (amongst many other approaches to thinking), they all form core aspects of what intersectionally entangles to form the ethos of Studio Siudio.

The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL
is an urbanist, architectural designer and photographer, having completed his Masters in Architecture at the Bartlett, UCL with a keen interest in social and participatory design. His research examines the pedagogical potentials of architecture in society, where his projects challenges the normalised roles of the architect in proposing new structural and design lead forms for democratic living and engagement. In 2017, he was invited as part of an international delegation of designers, architects and urbanists to the Transcribe Summer Lab, exploring methodologies to address the precarious urban conditions that face Braga’s Roma population. He has also held teaching positions at the Bartlett Summer School and Store Schools CIC Programmes. Previously, he has worked in professional practice for alma-nac, Christine Hawley Architects, Spatial Affairs Bureau and MICA Architects (Formerly Rick Mather Architects), where his work has been exhibited at international exhibitions across the world.
He is currently a Senior Project Officer at the GLA, working in the Good Growth Directorate in London.
